Take in our festive collection of Christmas trees as you enjoy a delicious variety of food & treats: homemade soups, roast beef sandwiches, Italian sausage, nachos, popcorn, cookies, cakes & more!

 

Browse our crafts for sale and take home a hand-carved wooden Christmas ornament from Big House Productions or a handmade bracelet from Hope for Ghana as well as goodies from other local crafters! The Girl Scouts will feature a craft station for children to make their own Christmas ornament! Enjoy the sounds of the season throughout the weekend as members of our church share their musical gifts!

 

Delmont Community Band will play Sat., Dec. 2, 4:30-5:30 & Sun., Dec. 3, 5:30-6:30!

All proceeds from our event go to our Compassion Funds: meeting people’s basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter.

Saturday, December 2: Old fashioned Victorian Christmas parlor scene

Sunday, December 3:  Music by the Presbyterian bell and chancel choirs and the Westminister Church choir.

 

Our sanctuary will be decorated in full Christmas splendor and open for viewing both evenings.  After touring our sanctuary, visit the old fashioned Victorian Christmas parlor scene on Saturday from 4:00-9:00.

On Sunday,  On Sunday from 5:00-8:00pm, there will be Christmas music featuring the Delmont Presbyterian bell and chancel choirs as well as the Westminster Church Choir.

Complimentary cookies, popcorn, and hot chocolate will be served both evenings.

 

St. John's Catholic Church

NOTE:  St. John’s will not be open until 5:00 PM on Saturday. Buses will begin running at 6pm at St. John's. Buses will begin running at 3:30pm at all other churches.

 

At St. John’s driveway entrance, see a fresh pine Advent Wreath with four tall lighted candles.  One candle is lit for each week of Advent in anticipation of Jesus Christ’s birth.

 

Inside St. John’s, we are decorated in Advent colors – see our awesome altar, Advent Calendar and live St. Nicholas.  In downstairs Social Hall, our tables are decorated with lanterns and our theme is “Lighting our way to Christ”.  Enjoy homemade potato and Italian wedding soups; tasty pizza; delectable made-to-order hot turkey sandwiches with Swiss cheese and bacon; hot ham sandwiches with melted provolone cheese; fruit and cream pies; cakes; cookies; cherry punch; hot cider; hot chocolate; hot coffee and hot tea.  There will be several gifted crafters who will be showing their specialty items.  Please come and check us out!

Upstairs in the church, participate in an old fashioned Civil War Era sanctuary with handmade

decorations. Enjoy our puppet ministry featuring "Simon & Reuben". Take a look at the many

Nativity Scenes that are on display.

 

In the Fellowship Hall, enjoy a Holiday Bazaar, a beautiful train display, cookies, & drinks.

 

 

Salvation Army

(Basement of Trinity United Church of Christ)

View a very cozy Christmas scene with stuffed animals, decorated Christmas trees and a train

display.  Enjoy personalized, decorated gingerbread cookies, coffee, & hot chocolate.

 

 

 

Faith United Methodist Church

Recalling aspects of life 120 years ago in Salem Crossroads, Faith UMC will have a winter forest scene, and visitors may walk through an Old General Store with antique farm implements where children can shell corn for Santa's reindeer.
